We're excited to introduce the Gorilla Creative Future Filmmaker Scholarship, designed to empower the next generation of filmmakers and media creators.
The Gorilla Creative Future Filmmaker Scholarship is designed to provide financial support to talented students and foster innovative filmmaking.
This scholarship is open to high school seniors, college, graduate, or adult students. Applicants must be at least 18 years or older and, be a U.S. citizen, and be pursuing a degree or certificate in film, television, multimedia, or a related field from an accredited college or university.

Why? We know that building a career in filmmaking takes more than creativity – it requires passion, focus, and vision. We're here to support students on their journey by learning what drives you, where your interests lie, and how you see your future in the industry.
We accept applications year round and award scholarships twice a year in January and May. Applicants may submit a new application every twelve months.
How Scholarship Funds Can Be Used: To ensure this scholarship provides meaningful support, recipients may use the awarded funds not only for tuition and fees but also for other essential expenses related to their education. These may include, but are not limited to: tuition, fees, books, course materials, art supplies, production equipment, transportation, housing, utilities, meals, groceries, application fees for four-year programs or certifications, and other essential expenses related to the recipient’s education and academic progress.
Eligibility Confirmation: You confirm that you meet all the eligibility criteria for this scholarship, including being a U.S. citizen and being a high school senior, college, graduate, or adult student pursuing a degree or certificate in film, television, multimedia, or a related field from an accredited college or university located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Use of Personal Information: You consent to the collection, storage, and use of your personal information provided in this form by Gorilla Creative for the purposes of administering the scholarship program. Your information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to process your application or as required by law.
Publicity and Marketing: If selected as a scholarship recipient, you grant Gorilla Creative permission to use your name, likeness, and scholarship-related content (e.g., your essay, commercial budget) for promotional and marketing purposes, including on our website, social media, and other public platforms, without further compensation.

No Obligation to Award: Submission of this application does not guarantee that you will be awarded a scholarship. Gorilla Creative reserves the right to select recipients based on the criteria outlined and to not award the scholarship if suitable candidates are not found.
Indemnification: By participating in this scholarship program, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gorilla Creative and its affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your participation in the program or the use of your submission.
Governing Law: This scholarship program and the terms and conditions thereof shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from this scholarship program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alameda County, California.
