Project Summary

Intuit needed a powerful way to overcome the perception that mid-market businesses (businesses with < $3M annual revenue) outgrow their QuickBooks tools and introduce Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES)—a new offering built to support the complex needs of fast-growing, mid-market businesses. The goal was to show how QuickBooks is more than a tool for small businesses—it’s a scalable solution that grows with you. To bring this message to life, they turned to Gorilla Creative, a San Francisco corporate video production company and trusted creative agency.

The Challenge
With the launch of Intuit Enterprise Suite, Intuit needed authentic, real-world stories (social proof) from successful businesses that had outgrown basic accounting software and found success with Intuit. These stories had to resonate with CFOs, controllers, and key financial decision-makers, while also demonstrating the value Intuit's platform in a visually engaging way.

Our Approach
Gorilla Creative led the entire process—from story development through production and delivery. After conducting customer discovery interviews and developing briefs on potential candidates, we landed on HFMM Legacy Group, a private equity firm focused on outdoor service companies with operations in Nicholson, PA and Fort Myers, FL. Their story was a perfect fit: growing complexity, multiple locations, and a clear need for advanced financial management tools.

From there, we handled all aspects of creative development and logistics. Our team managed message planning, interview prep, travel coordination, location planning, and on-site production. We filmed over multiple days in both Pennsylvania and Florida—capturing interview footage, b-roll of their day-to-day operations, and a full suite of still photography assets for use in both digital and print marketing.

Production & Post
Our deliverables included a library of 54 videos and a full set of photography assets. We produced a flagship customer testimonial video along with multiple cutdowns tailored for paid and organic distribution across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and OTT programmatic channels. All videos were designed to highlight HFMM’s real-world outcomes—like increased efficiency, better reporting, and reduced costs—while showcasing the power of the full Intuit Enterprise Suite ecosystem, including QuickBooks Payroll, Payments, and Time.

The Outcome
The result is a high-impact campaign that gives Intuit a versatile library of social proof assets to support the launch of Intuit Enterprise Suite and reach key decision makers in their target audience. Through authentic storytelling and clean, strategic execution, we helped shift the perception of QuickBooks from “just for small business” to a platform that’s built to scale with growing companies.
