Gorilla Creative is a Bay Area based, full service creative video agency that creates engaging content and experiences for today’s fast growing brands.
At our core, we are storytellers. We believe stories are the most powerful tool we have to communicate. Products, apps, customers, employees, and brands all have a story to tell and our passion is finding the most authentic and visually intriguing way to tell it.
Our goal is to create videos that ignite emotion and drive action. We believe good isn’t good enough and that boldness is always rewarded. We believe that communication is both delicate and deafening and equally critical regardless.
Our leadership team has nearly 30 years of combined experience in a wide range of industries, including the creation of scalable video strategies and full service video production, including live events and webcasting.
Our clients come from a wide range of industries and vary greatly in size, including tech startups and tech giants, biotech and medical device companies, and Fortune 50 brands. The one thing they all have in common is that they value high quality video content.
We believe that our personal touch, attention to detail, and flexibility is what sets us apart in our industry.
Meet The Gorilla Team
Eric is a content creative by day, and referees a wild pack of children by night. He holds a B.S. in Digital Film and Video Production from the Art Institute of California, San Francisco, and has continued to work in the video production industry ever since. He finds great satisfaction in the creative process of producing a video from concept to completion. His free time is filled with his three children and trying to convince them not to hurt themselves or each other. He enjoys sharing his hobbies with his family, including playing the ukulele, wakeboarding, and camping.
Matt has more than fifteen years of experience in the media and production industry. Having worked his way through a wide range of roles, he has a unique ability to bridge the gap between the highly technical and creative aspects of production. Matt holds a B.S. in Information Technology and Multimedia Visual Communication. He and his wife have two spirited sons and an overly active dog. They enjoy traveling and exploring new places, geocaching, tackling do-it-yourself projects, and searching for the world’s best glass of wine – which still eludes them.

Nelson has been editing since the days of VHS tape (remember those things?). It has grown from a hobby, to a passion, to a profession. His love for puzzle-solving and storytelling take hold when faced with bins of raw footage and an empty timeline – where he gets to craft a story, frame by frame. Nelson holds a B.S. in Television, Film, and New Media. When he’s not making magic happen in the cave, he likes to teach his son to breakdance, hold his newborn daughter in his arms, and take his wife on spontaneous food adventures!
Anthony has been involved in video production since he picked up his parent’s Sony CCDTRV36 Handycam. He holds a BFA in Film/Video from the California Institute of the Arts. He has an insatiable thirst for knowledge and is always on the prowl for thought-provoking conversation. He attacks everything in life with a go-get-em, hands on attitude. When he’s not working, he enjoys tea parties with his sister and dog, catching the latest movie, or spontaneous adventures with his family. In his free time, he is writing an anthology of short films that contemplate the impacts of A.I.
